HM Chartered Accountants recognised as an Arts Champion 2026

We are delighted to have been recognised as an Arts Champion 2026 by Arts & Business Northern Ireland, celebrating HM Chartered Accountants’ longstanding commitment to supporting the charity and arts sectors in Northern Ireland.

The recognition was presented at the Arts & Business NI Arts Champions Breakfast, which brought together businesses from across Northern Ireland that have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to supporting and championing arts and culture.

HM Chartered Accountants was recognised specifically for our:

“Long-standing commitment to championing charity governance, helping to strengthen the resilience and accountability of organisations throughout the sector.”

Supporting charities and not-for-profit organisations has been an important part of our work for many years. Alongside providing audit, accounting and advisory services, our team works closely with trustees, boards and senior leadership teams to help organisations navigate increasingly complex governance, financial and regulatory responsibilities.

Our commitment also extends to sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for the sector to discuss the issues it faces. Most recently, this has included our work around charity fraud, governance and cyber risk, helping organisations consider how they can better protect their finances, people and reputation.

The Arts Champion recognition is particularly meaningful as many arts and cultural organisations operate within the wider charity and not-for-profit sector and face the same challenges around strong governance, accountability and long-term resilience.

Treena Clarke attended the Arts Champions Breakfast on behalf of HM Chartered Accountants and accepted the recognition.

We are proud to be among the Northern Ireland businesses recognised by Arts & Business NI in 2026 and look forward to continuing to support organisations across the charity, arts and cultural sectors.

Congratulations to all of this year’s Arts Champions and thank you to Arts & Business NI for the recognition.
